Catharine L. "Kay" Patterson

YORK- Catharine L. “Kay” (Warner) Patterson, 75, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Chester E. Patterson. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. Certified Celebrant Allison Duke will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York. Mrs. Patterson was born in York on November 6, 1946, the daughter of the late Edward J. Warner and Irene Mundis. She retired as a head cashier for CVS Pharmacy in York. Kay was a member of the former Calvary United Presbyterian Church in York. She was a 1964 graduate of William Penn Senior High. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting; watching her soap operas, football, baseball, and NASCAR. She also loved her pet cats. Mrs. Patterson leaves a daughter, Denise A. Childs of York; a grandson, Matthew T. Childs of Red Lion; and five step grandchildren, Tanya, Jacob, Nicole, Allie and Alex Patterson.
