Carolyn T. (Livingston) Slothower

DOVER – Carolyn T. (Livingston) Slothower, 78, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at Forest Park Health Center in Carlisle. She was the wife of the late Donald S. Slothower, Sr. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Harmony Grove Community Church, 6390 Harmony Grove Rd., Dover with The Rev. James Crosley officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Saturday at the Church. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born January 19, 1934 in Fairview Twp., a daughter of the late John O. and Ruth V. (Imes) Livingston, she was a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. Mrs. Slothower had worked at New Cumberland Army Depot and volunteered at Health South-York and Dover Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, and day trips with her friends. Mrs. Slothower is survived by a son, Rev. Dennis L. and wife Bonnie Slothower of Arima, Trinidad; six grandchildren, Donald S. III, Daniel J., Dennis L., Brock A., D.J. Slothower, and Andrea M. Savage; 12 great grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Morton of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald S.
