YORK-Carol A. Emenheiser was born October 25 1942 in York PA to Elba Lynn and Beatrice Hill née Inners. She spoke fondly of her childhood years working in her grandmother's restaurant, Mary's Luncheonette on North Hartley St, cruising the York circuit with friends and listening to the early artists of rock n' roll. Especially fond of Elvis, she relished the opportunity to see his films with her friends.
Carol graduated from York High in 1961. She spent a majority of her professional career with Dentsply. After retirement she volunteered for many years at Martin Memorial Library. She was a voracious reader and was always working on a jigsaw puzzle. She enjoyed activities and trips with the Ridge Runner club and was a member of Mt. Zion United Church of Christ. Most of all, Carol enjoyed spending time with her family. She took great interest and pride in the activities of her children and grandchildren, and could often be found at sporting events and musical performances.
Carol is survived by a daughter Michele, son Tim and daughter-in-law Stephanie, as well as grandchildren Sean, Julia, Josh, Elijah, Grace and great-grandson Elliott. She was preceded in death by brothers Ronald and Larry.
