Carol Ann Murphy

Dover—Carol Ann (Jaros) Murphy, 82, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at York Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Paul Murphy.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.

Born September 26, 1941 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Kulczyska) Jaros.

She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Jefferson Hospital in Pittsburgh for twenty years.

As a younger woman, she would sew, crochet and knit. She loved shopping, was very artistic, adored animals and enjoyed reading, traveling, camping, and playing cards.

Mrs. Murphy is survived by 2 daughters, Pamela Wasylson and Michele Bromwell; two sons, Gregory Craft and William Craft; one grandchild, Christina Craft.
