Carol A. Peel

Carol A. (Trimmer) Peel, 75, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of Robert G. Peel whom she married Jan 2, 1982. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10AM, Thursday May 19, 2022 at Olelwiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Officiating the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Randy Zeiler. Viewings will be held from 5-7PM, Wednesday May 18, 2022 and from 9-10AM Thursday May 19, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born November 7, 1946 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late C. Kenneth Trimmer and Ellen G. (Stough) Trimmer. She was employed with Wellspan York Hospital for many years as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. An active member of Messiah United Methodist Church—York, where she sang in the choir, she was also a form member of Chapel United Methodist Church where she sang with their choir and occasionally played the organ. She loved music, taking mission trips to Frakes, KY and participated with Veterans Helping Hand. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Peel is also survived by, one step son, Christopher Peel of York; one step daughter, Jennifer West of Fort Collins, CO; five step grandchildren; one brother, Charles A. Timmer; one sister, Marilyn K. Bollinger and nieces and nephews.
