Carol A. (Berger) Grim

MANCHESTER – Carol A. (Berger) Grim, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of Charles W. Grim. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, March 13, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Pastor Dee Cashman officiating. A viewing will be held from 2-4:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens. Born October 29, 1943 in York a daughter of the late Ralph “Bud” and Virginia “Ginny” (Clough) Berger, she had worked at York YWCA. She had attended Cassel’s Christian & Missionary Alliance Church and enjoyed going bowling. Mrs. Grim is survived by three sons, twins Robert A. and David A. Copenheaver both of York and Barry E. Copenheaver of Dallastown; a daughter, Kimberly A. Regan of Manchester; five stepsons, Charles Grim, Jr., Ronald, Robert, Kevin, and Clarence Grim; a stepdaughter, Patricia Hansford; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Stacy, Faith, Nathan, Shawn, Amy, and Amber; and one great granddaughter, Hope; a brother, David Berger of Dover; two sisters, Joan Larkin of York and Sue Fair of Dover; and uncles, Jack and Jim Clough.
