Boyd Eugene Turner, Jr.

YORK - Boyd Eugene Turner, Jr. passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born August 9, 1958 in Hattiesburg, MS, Mr. Turner was a son of Carolyn F. (Sellers) Turner and the late Boyd Eugene Turner, Sr. Mr. Turner was an active member of Friendship Community Church in Dover for several years, where he enjoyed working with the youth group. He was a 1976 graduate from York Vo Tech. During school, Mr. Turner was on the gymnastics team, and later enjoyed playing softball and volleyball. In his free time, Mr. Turner enjoyed volunteering at Leg Up Farm in Mt. Wolf, and riding his motorcycle. Mr. Turner loved nothing more than spending time with his friends and family. Mr. Turner worked for many years as a drafter/designer for Fincor Corp, Graham Engineering, and later retiring from FES Refrigeration.

Mr. Turner is survived by his mother, Carolyn F. (Sellers) Turner; two daughters, Nicole M. Maurer and her husband Ben, and Jessica M. Rand and her husband Ryan; a son, Coty M. Turner; three grandchildren, Jackson Maurer, Shelby Maurer, and Calvin Rand; two brothers, Kenneth W. Turner and his wife Karen, and Robert A. Turner; two sisters, Letitia M. Knaub and her husband Rodney, and Melissa D. Stoner; as well an aunt, uncle, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is honored to serve the family.
