Bonnie L. (Smith) Grace

PINE GROVE- Bonnie L. (Smith) Grace, 82, died on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Providence Place in Pine Grove. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Grace, who died on March 8, 2022. The couple wed on February 12, 1965.

Born on July 12, 1944 in Altoona, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Bernadine (Yingling) Smith. Bonnie was an LPN at Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Country Meadows.

Bonnie loved spending her time with her three grandchildren including attending their school and sporting events/performances and so much more. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed word search puzzles, bingo, movie nights, eating ice cream, singing hymns, caring for cats that found their way to her home and most importantly family time and family dinners.

Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Lisa Erney and her husband, Collin of Dover and Brenda Grace-Smith of Sparks, NV; three grandchildren, Ryan Thomas Lucas and his wife, Sara of Harrisburg, Brady Christopher Lucas and his wife, Julia of Gig Harbor, WA and Shaun Joseph Lucas and his wife, Dani of Red Lion; brother, Colin Smith and his wife, Linda of South Eastern, MA; brother in law, Terry Grace and his wife, Peggy of Wells Tannery; and sister in law, Carol Ruby and her husband, Melvin of Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Miler.

Burial will be private at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is honored to serve the family.
