Betty M. (Potts) Pelletier

SPRINGETTSBURY TOWNSHIP- Betty M. (Potts) Pelletier, 87, of York, died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at her residence. A service will be at noon on Saturday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 11-noon. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Mrs. Pelletier was born September 15, 1920 in York, the daughter of the late E. Raymond and Edna M. (Meisenhelter) Potts. She was a 1937 graduate of William Penn High School and worked 18 1/2 years for the PA Department of Revenue, Bureau of Personnel in Harrisburg, until her retirement in 1977. Mrs. Pelletier was a member of the Living Word Community Church, AARP, and volunteered as a receptionist in the York County Courthouse for York County Area Agency on Aging. Mrs. Pelletier leaves a daughter, Beth Mary Patrick and husband Richard L. of Louisville, OH; one granddaughter, Ellen Varn and husband Ron of OH,; two step great grandchildren, Michael and Maclaine both of OH; two brothers, Richard M. Potts of York, and John R. Potts of Bradenton, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Living Word Community Church or VNA/Hospice.
