Betty (Knorr) Williams

WILKES-BARRE-Betty (Knorr) Williams, 82, of Golden Living Summit, Wilkes-Barre died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born February 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late James and Auroura (Witt) Knorr and a graduate of Meyers High School. She was employed by Pomeroy's Department Store and prior to retirement, she was employed at Rose Mar Manufacturing. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd in 1972; sister, Dorothy Witt Knorr; companion, Jack Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Dottie Malloy and her companion John Koprowski. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM from Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc. 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre with Reverend Micki Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville. Friends may call Friday 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
