Betty G. (Funt) Hughes

DOVER- Betty G. (Funt) Hughes, 83, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Manor Care-North. She was the loving wife of Jay Hughes, to whom she was married to for 66 ½ years. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hughes was born March 3, 1927 in Adams County, a daughter of the late George R. and Dola E. (Richardson) Funt. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hughes is survived by a foster daughter Carol Forbes. Mrs. Hughes loved life, people and horses. She was a good wife. She was the best of the best.
