Bertram Struasser

POTTSVILLE - Bertram Strausser, 79, of Pottsville, died February 6, 2007 at the York Terrace Nursing Center. Born in Darkwater on June 30, 1927, he was a son of the late Kipling and Elizabeth Ball Strausser. He was employed by Alcoa in Cressona and owned Struasser Contracting. He was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Navy. He is survived by: two sons, Daniel, of Orwigsburg and David, of Pottsville; three daughters, Betty Ann Fisher, of Royersford, Sandra Pucci, of Pottsville, and Debra Terraciano, of Pottsville; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four brothers; six sisters; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 AM at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville. The Rev. Bonnie Yeager will officiate. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
