York—Barbara Jean (Morton) Brewer, 68, died Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Manor Health Services-Dallastown. She was the wife of Charles Brewer III to whom she was married for 43 years. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born September 4, 1946 in York, she was a daughter of Emma J. ( Harman) Morton of Largo, FL and the late Earl D. Morton. She was a loving homemaker. Mrs. Brewer is also survived by one son, Patrick Brewer of York; one daughter, Jennifer Brewer of Denver, CO; three brothers, Michael D. Morton and Scott V. Morton both of Largo, FL and Dounan P. Morton of South Attleboro, MA and nieces and nephews.
