Barbara Ann Spurley

RED LION – Barbara Ann (Welsh) Spurley, 84, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at her home. She was the wife of Brian E. Spurley.

Born August 17, 1939 in Columbia, a daughter of the late Harry P. and Beatrice Welsh; she had worked at Stauffer Biscuit Company and later retired from Boscov’s Department Store.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Spurley is survived by a son, Travis A. Spurley of Red Lion; and a daughter, Karla A. Spangler of York.

Graveside services will be held privately at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth R. Gibson officiating. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
