Audrey V. (Smith) Triplett

RED LION- Audrey V. (Smith) Triplett, 85, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at York Hospital. She was the wife of William H. Triplett. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery in York. Mrs. Triplett was born in Red Lion on October 21, 1922, a daughter of the late Curvin and Mayme (Shenk) Smith. She retired from Caterpillar in York. Mrs. Triplett was a Red Lion High School Graduate, a member of the Red Lion Country Club, an avid golfer, dancer, swimmer, bowler, and she loved to travel. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Triplett leaves three sisters: Fay Warner of Felton, Elaine Wagman of Aberdeen, MD, and Patty Villarreal of Houston, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Smith. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity in Audrey's name.
