Arthur T. Shirey

Arthur T. Shirey POTTSVILLE-Arthur T. Shirey, 75, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday morning at Manor Care, Pottsville. Born in Shenandoah on October 29, 1932, he was the son of the late Arthur L. and Martha Goodridge Shirey. He was a 1950 graduate of Shenandoah High School. He was retired from Tamaqua Cable, Schuylkill Haven. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude A. Hauptly Shirey, who died in 2003. He is survived by his sister, Judith Blank, wife of Steven, of Cheshire, CT; his nephew, Randall Blank, of Cheshire, CT. Funeral service and interment will be private in Schuylkilll memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., Pottsville is in charge of arrangements.
