Arthur H. "Tony" Lewis, Jr.

YORK – Arthur H. “Tony” Lewis, Jr., 59, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at his residence.

Born August 21, 1964 in York, he was a son of Arthur H. Lewis, Sr. and Helen L. (Moreland) Lewis. Arthur was a machine operator at Graham Packaging for most of his career. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking (and eating), riding his Harley, golfing and bowling. Mr. Lewis was a professional bowler, making it to the Pennsylvania Hall of Fame, as well as being shown on ESPN numerous times. He scored 300 points over 48 times in his professional sport career. Most of all, Arthur is remembered as being a great uncle, a loving man and having a great sense of humor.

Along with his parents, Arthur is survived by a son, Anthony S. Lewis; a brother, Kevin Lewis and his wife, Lyndsi; three nieces and a nephew.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., York, is helping the family with arrangements.
