Annie Lee Quick

York—Annie Lee (McMillan) Quick, 81, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025 at York South Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was the wife of the late Fred C. Quick.

Born March 21, 1944 in Bamberg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Norman F. McMillan Sr., and Rebecca (Brabham) McMillan.

She was employed in the house keeping department at York Hospital and later at UPMC – Pittsburgh until her retirement in 2010.

A dedicated member of Fairview Full Gospel Baptist Church, she was active in several church organizations including as an usher, sang on the choir, pastor’s aid and served as pastor’s aid president for several years. In addition, following her retirement, she worked with FELCC for many years.

Mrs. Quick is survived by three sisters, Rebecca Jamison and her husband, Robert, Mary Fields and Sally Stiers and her husband, Wayne; two brothers, John McMillan and his wife, Joanne and Curtis McMillan and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Dickerson and two brothers, Norman McMillan Jr. and Lenward McMillan.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, October 04, 2025 at Fairview Full Gospel Baptist Church, 465 S. Pine St., York. Officiating the service will be Pastor T. Vanessa Hopkins and Pastor Brian Smith. A viewing will be held from 9:00 – 10:00AM, Saturday at the church. Burial will be held in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.
