Anne H. Frost

YORK- Anne H. “Nan” (Homsher) Frost, 86, of West Manchester Township, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Promedica Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, South in York. She was the wife of The Reverend Uble M. Frost. The couple celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on August 11, 2021. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Shiloh United Church of Christ, 2251 Willow Rd., in York. A second service will be planned at a later date At Wentz’s United Church of Christ in Lansdale, with burial in the church cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements. Anne was born in Lackawanna County, PA on July 18, 1935, the daughter of the late Silas and Sarah (McAneney) Homsher. She retired from York Vo-Tech. Mrs. Frost was a member of Shiloh UCC in York, where in the past she was very active in the church conference. She was a graduate of Lower Merion High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg and her Master’s degree from Temple University. She leaves a daughter, Dr. Holly Frost of Ephrata; a son, Uble M. Frost, Jr. of Elizabethtown; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel R. Frost and three brothers, John, Joseph, and James Homsher.
