Angelina A. Gately

YORK - Angelina A. (Aguirre) Gately, 74, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at York Hospital. She was the wife of John Gately to whom she was married for 49 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Certified Celebrant Jessica Smith officiating. Mrs. Gately was born on November 1, 1943 in Houston, TX a daughter of the late Robert and Olivia (Gonsalez) Aguirre. She retired from the Social Security Administration. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Gately is survived by a son, Robert. V. Virguez of Austin, TX; a daughter, Elizabeth G. Obermeier of York; and two grandchildren, Chloe M. and Collin D. Obermeier.
