Andrew L. "Andy" Hastings

Andrew L. “Andy” Hastings, 71, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at UPMC Harrisburg. He was the husband of Lorraine P. “Pat” (Wisniewski) Hastings to whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage on June 2, 2025.

Mr. Hastings was born on March 15, 1954, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Paul E. and Mary B. (Youngbar) Hastings. Following high school, he enlisted in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and continued his military service until his retirement in 1996 after 24 years. Following his service, he worked for USPS as the couple moved around the country. Andy loved hockey especially the Washington Capitals. He was a devoted family man and loved to travel and explore with them.

In addition to his wife Lorraine, Mr. Hastings is survived by two sons, Patrick and Paul Hastings; two grandsons, Ryan and Kyle; a sister Marie Lukaszczyk and husband John; and his beloved dog Oscar.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held privately with York County Veterans Honor Guard providing full military honors. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.
