Amy Beth Ann (Lewis) Williams

ALLENTOWN - Amy Beth Ann (Lewis) Williams, 38, of Pottsville, died Sunday afternoon at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown. Born in Pottsville, on January 17, 1971, she was a daughter of Harold G. "Hank" and Judith (Krotine) Lewis. She graduated in 1989 from Nativity B.V.M High School. She was also a graduate of the Franklin Academy, Pottsville, and the Saint Luke's School of Nursing, in Bethlehem. Amy was employed by the Lehigh Valley Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. She was also in the process of completing supplemental training to become a flight nurse. On September 9, 1995 she married Jeffrey R. Williams, who preceded her in death on February 8, 2009. A dedicated nurse and loving mother, Amy enjoyed spending time with her children and family. Surviving her are: two sons, Tyler and Owen, Pottsville; her parents, Harold G. and Judith Lewis, Pottsville; three sisters, Kimberly Ann Lewis, Port Carbon, Jacqueline and her husband Brian Kotzmoyer, Pottsville; Mindy and her husband Jamie Whitaker, Pottsville; her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Lewis; nieces, nephews aunts and uncles. In addition to her husband, Amy was preceded in death by: her paternal grandfather, Harold G. Lewis, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Robert A. and Margaret Krotine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 from the St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville, with the Reverend David Loper officiating. Family and friends may call from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville, on Friday morning from 8 AM until 10:30 AM. Interment will be in the St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Pottsville.
