Abigail G. Godfrey

DALLASTOWN - Abigail Grace Godfrey, 20, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on Sunday, July 31, 2022. She will be dearly missed by her loving family. There will be a viewing from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 with Certified Celebrant Allison Duke officiating at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, PA. Burial will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born June 12, 2002 in York, Abigail was the daughter of Thomas E. and Nancy A. (Cain) Godfrey, Jr. Abigail graduated from Dallastown Area High School, class of 2020. She was very active in the school band, and performed on the Dallastown High School Drum Line, the First Capital Drum Line, and the York Youth Symphony. In her free time, Abigail enjoyed volunteering at Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter, and spending time with her cat, Romeo. Through Gift of Life, Abigail was able to save eight peoples lives after her passing. Abigail leaves behind her parents, Thomas E. Godfrey, Jr. and Nancy A. (Cain) Godfrey; three brothers, Christopher T. Godfrey, Derrick T. Godfrey (Emily), and Ethan J. Madison; a niece, Harper L. Godfrey; a nephew, Landon J. Godfrey; and her beloved cat, Romeo.
