Victoria A. Sawyer

Emigsville—Victoria A. “Mammaw Vicki” (Welborn) Sawyer, 74, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at York Hospital. A Celebration of Life Tribute will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born July 22, 1946 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Paul M. and Mary (Weaver) Welborn. She was employed at Rutter’s as a deli manager for several years and also worked at Gabe’s and Bob Evans. Victoria enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables and loved cooking for anyone. She also loved trips to the beach with family and listening to loud music of all genres. Most of all she cherished time with her family and friends, especially the time spent with her grandchildren. Mrs. Sawyer is survived by three sons, Bobby Joe Sawyer and his wife, Bobbie Jo, Tony Sawyer and wife, Missy and James Sawyer Jr., and wife, Ami; five grandchildren, Brandon Sawyer and wife, Jennifer, Danielle Sawyer, Christian Sawyer, Cameron Sawyer and Violet Sawyer; great grandchild, Baby Sawyer (due in May); one brother, Dave Welborn and nieces and nephews.
