Thelma R. (Attig) Miller

Loganville--Thelma R. (Attig) Miller, 93, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at SpiriTrust Lutheran Village at Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late Francis H. Miller to whom she was married for 60 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11AM, Friday, March 23, 2018 at Salem United Church of Christ, 24 Franklin St., Jacobus, with her pastor, the Rev. Kevin L. Becker officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11AM, Friday at church. Burial will be held in Salem Union Cemetery. Born December 26, 1924 in York, she was a daughter of the late Spurgeon E. and Phoebe R. (Dietz) Attig. She was employed with local dry cleaners Mary MacIntosh and later Formprest until her retirement. A member of Salem United Church of Christ, where she was a very active member, she was also part of Loganville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary of York County, York County Firefighters Ladies Auxiliary and AARP. Mrs. Miller is survived by one daughter, Linda S. Kashner and husband, Mervin of York; one grandson, Jason A. Kashner and wife, Jennifer of Loganville; one great granddaughter, Morgan B. Kashner and great-great granddaughter, Laken E. Barshinger; brother-in-law, William Miller and wife, Karen of Dallastown; sister-in-law, Anna Miller of Loganville and nieces and nephews.
