WILLIAMSPORT -Sara A. (Miller) Aderhold, 75, walked whole into the arms of Jesus, her savior at 8:50 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 at her residence. She was the loving wife of 56 years to Harrison F. Aderhold who survives. Sara was born on September 10, 1933 in Muncy and was a daughter of the late Sylvester D. and Grace I. (Rupert) Miller. She graduated from Muncy Schools and was a former employee of Carroll House Dept. Store and retired from GTE Sylvania. She was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Williamsport, Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 500, Zafar Grottoettes, the Order of the Amaranth and had volunteered at the food court for little league. She enjoyed crafts, collecting teddy bears and traveling. In addition to her husband, Harrison, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; John F. and Joy Aderhold of Williamsport, two daughters and sons-in-law; Ilene K. and Oren Butler of Williamsport and Ann L. and Terry Polichetti of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, six grandchildren; Jamie Aderhold, Andrea Greene, Stephenie Butler, Brad Butler, Sarah Polichetti and James Polichetti, four great grandchildren; Kaytlin Nye, Althea Greene, Tanner Aderhold and Tabitha Aderhold, three brothers and sisters-in-law; Oscar D. and Kay Miller of Santee, CA, Grover L. and Marlyn Miller of Rapid City, SD and Robert G. and Sheryl Miller of Muncy and five sisters and three brothers-in-law; Mary K. and Stanley Kepner of Hughesville, Beverly J. Frantz of Hughesville, Annabell M. and Ronald Reitmeyer of Temple, AZ, Betty E. and David Nelson of Picture Rocks and Charlotte L. Faust of Hughesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; Harold D. Miller in 1963. There will be a public viewing 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 at Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport with a service conducted at 7:45 p.m. by the Order of Eastern Star. Graveside services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. The family will provide the flowers and suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Susquehanna Home Care & Hospice / The Gatehouse, 1100 Grampion Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
