SPRINGETTSBURY TOWNSHIP- S. Helen (Hutton) Schlag Miller, 105, of York, died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Brunswick at Longstown. She was the wife of the late David I. Miller and the late Albert Schlag. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. The Rt. Reverend Barry Eugene Yingling and The Reverend Eugene Snyder will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Bethlehem Stonepile U. M. Cemetery. Helen was born in Red Lion on April 10, 1904, a daughter of the late John Michael and Sarah Agnes (Reisinger) Hutton. She worked as a Cigar Maker for several different cigar companies in the Red Lion area. She was a member of St. Paul's U. M. Church in Red Lion, Red Lion Senior Center, and AARP. She leaves a daughter, Sara Jane Garbrick of York; four grandchildren, Mary-Kay Williams, David Garbrick, Philip Garbrick, and Rachel Swartz; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
