Ruth N. (Flinchbaugh) Miller

YORK - Ruth N. (Flinchbaugh) Miller, 82, passed away Friday January 2, 2009 at York Hospital. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday January 9, 2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery. Born December 4, 1926 in Windsor, a daughter of the late Ivan and Flora (Oberdorff) Flinchbaugh, she retired in 1988 from American Chain and Cable after 30 years of service. She enjoyed being outside and loved working in her yard. Mrs. Miller is survived by two daughters, Wendy and husband Keith Overmiller of York and Patricia and husband Kenneth Ruby of York; two sons, David Miller of NJ and Gregory Miller of York; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Koons of Dallastown; two brothers, Robert Flinchbaugh of York and Fred Flinchbaugh of Red Lion. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Russell, Paul, Clair, James, Glen, and Charles Flinchbaugh.
