Russell E. Gerould

TROY-Russell E. Gerould, 57, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Wilkes Barre, PA. Russell was born on April 29, 1955 in Troy, PA, son of the late Carroll and Janet (Kingsley) Gerould. He was first employed America Bridgeworks in Elmira, NY and after leaving there was employed till recently by Taylor Trucking in Wyalusing, PA as a dispatcher. Russell attended Mount Pisgah Wesleyan Church, was a life member of the NRA, and was passionate about hunting and fishing. Russell is survived by his brother Glenn Gerould of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, along with several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Ann Marie Finnerty. Family and friends are welcome to call from 7:00-9:00 pm on Thursday, May 24, 2012 and again from 10:00-11:00 am on Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Russell’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 25th at the funeral home with Rev. Lynn Ensign and Pastor Patrick Kelly officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of Russell’s family in Union Cemetery in East Smithfield, PA.
