Airville — Robert M. Craley, died Monday, February 13, 2012 in Jacksonville, FL. He was the husband of G. Alice (Kneavel) Craley to whom he was married for 8 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 AM, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 121 W. Broadway, Red Lion. His pastor, the Rev. James E. VanZandt, will be officiating the service. A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, Tuesday, at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Craley was born in York, on June 25, 1940, a son of the late Ira B. and Estella Craley. He was employed as a lineman with GTE Corporation/Verizon Communications for 45 years until his retirement in 2005. Mr. Craley was a United States Air Force Veteran. He attended Bethany United Methodist Church in Red Lion and enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, helping family and friends, studying military aircraft and loved his Irish Wolfhounds. In addition to his wife, Alice, Mr. Craley is also survived by one son, Clifford A. Craley and his wife, Krista of Red Lion; one daughter, Elaine S. Willis and her husband, Richard of Dallastown; five grandchildren, Megan and Alex Craley and Rachael, Laura and David Willis; one sister, Arlene Stough of York and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dianne D. (Decker) Craley. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 121 W. Broadway, Red Lion, Pa 17356.
