Robert E. Glass, Sr.

YORK HAVEN- Robert E. Glass, Sr., 75, of Newberry Township, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of Charlene R. (Troup) Glass. The couple celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on August 13, 2020. A viewing will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street in Lewisberry. Mr. Glass was born in Louisville, KY on December 27, 1945, the son of the late Erwin and Hattie (Boyd) Glass. He retired from York Casket Company, where he was a truck driver for over 30 years. He enjoyed collecting model trucks and playing the guitar. Along with his wife Charlene, he leaves a daughter, Tracey Keckler of Rebersburg; two sons, Timothy Glass of York Haven and Robert Glass, Jr. of Lewisberry; three step sons, Leon Heiges of Duncannon, Joseph Heiges, Sr. of York Haven, and Kenneth Heiges of York Haven; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
