YORK- Rick Gene Crone, 55, died Monday, March 10, 2014 at Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 p.m. with a gathering to follow until 8 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Red Lion American Legion, 23, East Broadway in Red Lion. There will be a visitation from 4:30-5 p.m. Pastor John Harman will be officiating at the service. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements. Mr. Crone was born in York on December 30, 1958, the son of Gene Edward Crone, Sr. of Delaware and the late Arlene Alice (Wentz) Crone. He was the owner and operator and an auto mechanic with ProBuilt Transmissions in Lancaster and Delaware. Mr. Crone was a member of the American Legion in Delaware. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps where he became disabled. Mr. Crone leaves four sons, Brandon, Adam and Nick Crone, and Kyle Tollinger; four daughters, Sherina Reisinger, Carissa Sharp, Rikki Crone, and Natasha Tollinger; two grandchildren; a brother, Gene Crone, Jr.; a sister, Bambie Jordan: his step father, Dennis Leicht, and his best friend, Melvin Reynolds.
