Richard E. Wolf

RED LION- Richard Eugene Wolf, 85, of Windsor Township, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Manor Care Health Services in Dallastown. He was the husband of Patsy E. (Ferree) Wolf. The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on May 26, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 2650 Freysville Rd. in Red Lion, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. The Reverend Edward Robbins will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Freysville Cemetery along Windsor Road. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Wolf was born in Red Lion on November 15, 1930, the son of Jacob C. and Minnie A. (Mitzel) Wolf. He retired from Ettco Tool and Machine in York. Mr. Wolf was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, where he served on church council and was an usher. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially on vacation and at sporting events. Mr. Wolf leaves three sons, Scott K. Wolf of Kernersville, NC, Brad E. Wolf of Red Lion, and Brian K. Wolf and his wife Korrie of Jonestown; eight grandchildren, Mandy, Kelsey, Kayla, Austin, Kyle, Lisa, Stephanie, and Johanna; a sister, Delores Fake; and nieces and nephews.
