Reiko (Endo) Fake

YORK - Reiko (Endo) Fake, 78, passed away Friday, December 25, 2009 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Chester C. Fake to whom she was married for 53 years on January 11, 2009. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born March 13, 1931 in Sendai, Japan a daughter of the late Hideo and Etoi Endo, she retired from Pfaltzgraff, Inc. after 25 years. Mrs. Fake was a member of Ladies Auxiliary at Ebert's Lane VFW Post 556 and enjoyed playing cards, cooking, collecting seashells, and travelling. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fake is survived by four daughters, Norma J. and husband W. Blake Bair of Spring Grove, Linda A. and husband Gregory Hagens of Dover, Deborah L. Wertz of York, and Sandra L. Fake of York; eight grandchildren, Jaclyn, Matthew, Greg, Kayla, Candice, Christina, Ashley, and Danielle; 14 great grandchildren; and a number of brothers and sisters living in Japan.
