RENOVO - Fantaski, 53, of died at his residence on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. He was born in Renovo on June 2, 1956, son of the late William and Shirley (Eschenbach) Fantaski. Philip was a 1974 graduate of Bucktail High School, was Catholic by faith, enjoyed playing cards at the Sons of Italy Club, and was an avid hunter. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Clearfield for over 18 years. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Beth" (Tarr) Fantaski, whom he married in Renovo on July 18, 1981. Also surviving is his son: Brian (Amanda) Fantaski of Renovo, grandson: Braylon Michael, brother: William "Tooter" Fantaski of S. Renovo, sister: Gloria (Ronald) Hunter of Fayetteville, N. Carolina, uncle: Allison "Sonny" Murphy of Renovo, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister: Polly Ann. Memorial graveside services will be held in North Bend Cemetery at a later date and will be published when scheduled. Memorials are requested to the Western Clinton Co. Sportsman's Assoc. Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo is in charge of the arrangements.
