Paul W. Dinterman

YORK- Paul W. Dinterman, 83, of Manchester Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at York Hospital after losing a brave battle to Alzheimer’s disease. He was the husband of Audrey J. (Hauser) Dinterman. The couple celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on January 11, 2015. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. Certified Celebrant Jessica Smith will be officiating. Mr. Dinterman was born in Frederick, MD on July 30, 1932, the son of Paul E. and Ethel May (Peddicord) Dinterman. He retired from New York Wire Company after 39 years of service. He enjoyed baseball, Penn State Football, working in his lawn and spending time with his grandchildren. He volunteered for Alert Fire Company in Manchester Township. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Along with his wife, Mr. Dinterman leaves a daughter, Sharon K. Dinterman of York; three grandchildren, Michelle Heidlebaugh, Kyle Heidlebaugh, and Brittany Arbogast; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Olphin of Dallastown.
