Patricia Ann Wiley

YORK – Patricia A. Wiley, 72, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at York Hospital.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will take place Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., York, with Chaplain Michael Miller from the Margaret E. Moul Home, Chaplain Don Alspaugh and hospice nurse Alex Neil from Memorial White Rose Hospice officiating the service. There will be a viewing prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Born June 20, 1951, at Walter Reed Army Hospital, she was the daughter of Margaret J. (Jenkins) Wiley of Dover and the late Lester L. Wiley. Pat was a member of the Madison Ave. Church of the Brethren. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to the WSBA Radio to hear the Baltimore Orioles’ games, Baltimore Ravens’ games and Penn State games. She loved spending time with her family and was an avid dog and cat lover. You could tell by her wardrobe and fingernails that green was her favorite color, even though she had been blind since birth.

Pat is survived by her sister, Brenda L. Hess and her husband James Hess of York; three nephews, Shawn Seifert and his companion Margie of Hanover, Damien Hess and his wife Storey of Long Island, NY and Derrick Hess and his wife Andrea of Golden, CO; two great-nephews Reed Seifert and Alex Hess; one great-great nephew Jalen Seifert; two aunts, Molly Jenkins of VA and Erma Hysell of MD; and many cousins from all over the United States. She is preceded in death by her father, Lester L. Wiley, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
