BROGUE- Nelda M. (Bacon) Warner, 85, of Chanceford Township, died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Frank R. Warner. The couple celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on February 3rd. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Chanceford Alliance Church, 2142 Furnace Rd. in Felton. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion and from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Mrs. Warner was born in Chanceford Township on May 22, 1926, daughter of the late Wilson and Carrie (Taylor) Bacon. She was a devoted homemaker and caregiver to many. Mrs. Warner leaves three sons, Mark E. Warner of York Township, Max B. Warner of Felton, and Myron L. Warner of Red Lion; two daughters, Kathy S. (Warner) Herr of Marietta and Kay M. (Warner) Rettig of Red Lion; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, and a great, great grandson; two brothers, Vernard Bacon of Red Lion, and David Bacon of Dallastown; and two sisters, Lois Taylor of Dallastown and Ada McManus of Maryland. A daughter, Karen (Warner) Baldwin, a son, Joseph Warner, and a great granddaughter, Kylie Warner had preceded her in death.
