Mary Roskosky

POTTSVILLE- Mary Roskosky, 92, of Pottsville, passed away Sunday at her residence. Born in Pottsville on August 10, 1917, Mary was a daughter of the late John and Maria Dorvitch Bobinis. Mary was a graduate of Pottsville High School. She worked for Pottsville Mills for 36 years. She retired from M & Q Packaging, Schuylkill Haven. She was a member of the former Mary Queen of Peace Church, Pottsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Roskosky, Sr., who passed away in 1977; her son, Stanley J. Roskosky, Jr., who passed away in 1993; her daughter-in-law, Jean M. Conville Roskosky, who passed away in 2009; her great granddaughter, Meadow Roskosky; her sister, Anna Becker; her four brothers, Michael, Charles, Joseph and John Bobinis. Mary is survived by her Grandson, Stanley J. Roskosky, III, husband of Shannon,of Palo Alto; her Grandaughter, Lisa Hill, wife of Frank, of Tamaqua; her 5 Great Grandchildren, Megan Roskosky Boyer, Derek Roskosky, Emily Lauren and Frankie Hill; her nephew, George Shemansik, of Pottsville; several nieces and nephews. Graveside interment services will be held on Friday morning at 11:00 A.M. in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Peach Mountain, Pottsville. Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., Pottsville is in charge of arrangements.
