YORK- Mary H. (Markey) Dehoff, 93, passed away on Friday January 25, 2008 at Pleasant Acres in York. She was the wife of the late Curvin R. Dehoff. Following cremation a Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Dehoff was born in Dallastown on September 2, 1914, a daughter of the late Fred and Mary Jane (Daugherty) Markey. She worked for various cigar factories in the Red Lion area, then for Densply International in York and retired from House of Windsor Cigar Company. Mrs. Dehoff was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Dallastown, where she belonged to the women's Sunday school class. Mrs. Dehoff leaves three sons: Barry and Terry Dehoff, both of York and Dennis Dehoff of Red Lion, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Julia E. Dehoff, four brothers and five sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main Street., Dallastown, PA 17313, or Alzheimer's Association of Greater PA, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
