Martha Marie Cretu

YORK—Martha Marie (Wise) Cretu, 94, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in the loving care of her family. She was the wife of the late Vergil T. Cretu.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.

Born September 21, 1928 in Canton, OH, she was a daughter of the late Goldie and Walter Wise.

She was employed as a medical records clerk with Church Home and Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland for several years until her retirement.

Mrs. Cretu is survived by one son, Nicholas Cretu and wife Mary one daughter, Joanne Morris and husband Charles; four grandchildren, Staci Cretu and husband Frank Ciccocioppo, Brandon Cretu, Tyler Morris and Charles Morris.

She lived for her family and was the shining star always concerned for each person that surrounded her with love. She always turned negatives into positives and was a deeply caring person. She was loved by so many people and she is watching over all her loved ones.
