Margaret A. "Peg" Davies, 86, formerly of Pottsville, died Wednesday at the Ephrata Manor, Ephrata. Born in Pottsville, on November 25, 1920, she was a daughter of the late James B. and Margaret A. (Maley) Crouse. She was a graduate of Pottsville High School. She was married to the late Robert L. Davies, who died in 1988. Peg was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. She also was a volunteer at the former Leader nursing home. Surviving Peg are: a son, Russell Davies and his wife Miriam, of Bolvier, PA; three daughters, Carol, wife of Jerry Delaney, of Ephrata, Nancy, wife of Anthony Bollers, of Columbia, MD and Joan, wife of George Forster, of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren and a great grandchild; a brother, Carlton Crouse, of Schuylkill Haven; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Ann Kissinger and a brother Samuel Crouse. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 PM from the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3rd and Arch St., Pottsville. The Rev. Harold Hand, Jr. will officiate. Family and friends may call at the church from 1 PM until time of service. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W.
