Lorraine L. (Johnson) Shultz

YORK -Lorraine L. (Johnson) Shultz, 78, died Saturday May 22, 2010 at her residence. She was the loving wife of Philip E. Shultz to whom she was married to for 54 years. Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Shultz was born March 23, 1932 in Ickesburg, PA, a daughter of the late Dean I. and Margaret G. (Schaeffer) Johnson. She was a 1950 graduate of York High School. Mrs. Shultz was a professional artist, specializing in dog portraits and landscapes. Along with being self employed, she was a former employee of Graphic Services and York Wallcoverings, Inc. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, landscaping, bird watching, leisurely walks, fishing, and hunting. She also enjoyed reading, photography, and spending quality time with her family. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Shultz is survived by two sons, Wade P. Shultz and wife, Ann M., and Chris E. Shultz and wife, Deborah A., all of Dover; three grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew, and Ashley; two great grandchildren; a sister Phyllis "Judy" Garner and husband, Ernest of W. York; and nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
