YORK – Lori Lyn Stanczyk, age 50, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Born on September 9, 1967 in York, she was the daughter of Daniel and Kay (Glessner) Stanczyk of York. She was a 1985 graduate of Red Lion, and worked as a server at Round The Clock Diner, East. Lori’s vivacious personality and sense of humor was infectious to all who knew her, and her passion for life was evident, especially when cheering on the Pittsburg Steelers, the Penguins, and NASCAR. Known for her compassion, Lori always made time for others, particularly for animals in need which included her beloved cats Boo, Tiggie, and Myla. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, Lori is survived by a son, Ian Lau of York; her long-time partner, Robert W. Pullo, Jr. of York; a brother, Eric (Kim) of Nebo, NC; a sister, Yvonne (Andres), of Jersey City, NJ; two nephews, Edison and Dylan; and a niece, Mercede. A service to celebrate Lori’s life will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Rd., Red Lion, with Pastor Steve Almquist as Celebrant. Viewings will be held from 6:00-8:00PM on Thursday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner, 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion, and from 10:00-11:00AM on Friday at Living Word Community Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue, Inc., 2 Heritage Farm Dr., New Freedom, PA.
