Linda C. Krone

LEWISBERRY – Linda C. (Bowers) Krone, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of Robert E. Krone to whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage on July 11th. Viewings will be held from 7-9:00 PM Monday, August 6, 2018 and 10-11:00 AM Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at New Life Church, 530 Big Spring Road, New Cumberland. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at New Life Church with Pastor Gavin Whitcomb, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born July 5, 1950 in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Leach) Bowers, she was a 1968 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School and earned her LPN Degree from Harrisburg Nursing School. Linda worked as a LPN at Blue Ridge Haven Nursing Home. Mrs. Krone was a member of Moore’s Mountain Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Krone is survived by a daughter, Kathleen N. and husband Darin Ishler currently missionaries in Durban, South Africa; three grandchildren, Tyler, Ella and Alexis; and a brother, Gregory and wife Patty Bowers of Camp Hill. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah L. Krone; and a sister, Karen Hamilton.
