YORK- Kay Robert Noel, 84, died on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his residence. He was the husband of Ann L. (Becker) Noel to whom he was happily married for 63 years. Services for Mr. Noel are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born on September 16, 1936 in York, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Sybella (Fahringer) Noel. Kay graduated in 1954 from West York High School. Kay was an industrial salesman for Bush-Miller for over 30 years until his retirement. He was their first salesman to reach one million dollars in sales within one year. Prior to Bush-Miller, he worked at National Gypsum and Coover’s Drug Store. He and his son Jon also owned and operated Noel Marine, Dover. He was a member of the York Jaycees and EUB (later Otterbein UMC) church on Philadelphia St. After retirement he worked at Hawn's Outdoor Power Equipment, Ski Roundtop and his favorite, Yellowstone National Park. Mr. Noel enjoyed boating, motorcycles, RV camping, attending Raven's games and visiting Disney Epcot. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, especially at Stone Harbor, NJ where he vacationed with the family for many years. Along with his wife, Ann, Kay leaves three children, Jan Gumerlock and her husband, Ken of Dover, Nan Noel of York, and Jon Noel and his wife Elizabeth, York; grandchildren, Zachary, Ashley, Michael, Ken and wife Jess, and Kevin; four great grandchildren, Josie, Olivia, Jaxson and Joey; a sister, Veda Henry and her husband, Sam of Nashua, NH; and sister in law, Fay Eisenhart of East Berlin.
