Karen M. Carpenter

RED LION – Karen M. (Kile) Carpenter, 61, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Steven R. Carpenter to whom she was married for 26 years on October 3rd. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A viewing will be held from 3-5:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Born September 25, 1957 in York a daughter of the late Kenneth and Esther (Stine) Kile, she was a 1975 graduate of Dallastown Area High School. Karen worked at D. F. Stauffer Biscuit Co. for the past 40 years. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Carpenter is survived by a son, Brandon J. Huson of York; a daughter, Heather J. Huson and husband Corey Shaw of Candor, NY; four grandchildren, Riley and Owen Huson and Gwendolyn and Declan Shaw; and numerous aunts and uncles.
