Karen L. (Hendricks) Wilbur

RED LION- Karen L. (Hendricks) Wilbur, 71, formerly of Des Moines, IA, Daphne, AL and Lancaster, passed away at her residence. She was the wife of the late Lawrence A. Wilbur. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Born on March 31, 1947 in Snoqualmie Falls, WA, she was a daughter of the late Don and Dorris (Borg) Hendricks. Karen was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilbur was President of the Ladies Golf Association at Lake Forest while residing in Daphne. She also loved quilting. Mrs. Wilbur is survived by her daughter, Jeri Ruser and husband, Ed of York; four grandchildren, Ryan Ruser, Andy Ruser, Bradley Ruser and Kari Ruser; and two brothers, Tom Hendricks and wife, Patty of Arizona and Mark Hendricks and wife, Patti of Arizona.
