John J. Slovich

Renovo - John J. Slovich, 87 passed away Friday, December 5, 2008 at the Lock Haven Hospital Emergency Room. He was born in Austria on September 13, 1921 a son of the late Vasyl & Christina (Perok) Slovich. John retired from Piper Aircraft after several years. He was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Knights of Columbus. Surviving are four grandchildren Scott, Rodney, Miranda and Christina. One brother Joseph of Lock Haven and a sister Ann Fedas of Summerville, NJ He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 P.M., Thursday, December 11, 2008 at St. Joseph Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo with Rev. Richard Tomkosky officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the church one hour prior to the mass. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to St. Joseph Church.
