YORK – Joan M. (Walker) Anderson, 51, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at UPMC Harrisburg. She was the wife of Kevin M. Anderson to whom she was married for 29 years. A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2020 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. All PA Dept. of Health COVID-19 guidelines will be followed with a maximum of 10 people inside the Funeral Home and masks required. Anyone wishing to attend the viewing can reserve a viewing time at https://forms.gle/iK3ckRE9APikkeDEA or call Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Home at 717-244-6991 to reserve a time slot. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 10:45 AM. Joan’s graveside service will also be livestreamed on the Olewiler Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Facebook page at www.facebook.com/olewilertributes/live Born February 13, 1969 in York a daughter of Norma (Koontz) Walker of Spry and the late Patrick Walker, Joan was a graduate of York Co. School of Technology with a certification to teach Cosmetology. Mrs. Anderson had previously worked for United Disabilities and in the pharmacy at York Hospital. In addition to her husband and mother, Joan is survived by two sons, Kyler and wife Teah Anderson of Red Lion and Brady Anderson and his girlfriend Bethany Trout of York; a granddaughter, Aelita Anderson; and three sisters, Joyce Aldinger and Patricia Darr of Spry and Betty Rose of Glen Rock.
